Rabbit Run...Bunny Minding Service
Overnight or longer term. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

What To Expect

Your bunny will be looked after as if they were our own. They will be housed inside at night and will have time out of their hutches during the day to play and explore.

In fine weather our bunnies play in the bunny tunnels on our large, secure back porch, or are supervised in one of our rabbit runs in our bunny proof garden.

When the temperature reaches 25 degrees or more we always bring bunnies inside so that they do not suffer from heat stress.

Our Hutches

We have adapted or built all of our indoor and porch hutches as we have found that most commercial hutches are to small. Our bunnies love their hutches and often choose to stay in them even when the door is open. However, at night we secure the little fence around the hutch so that our bunny's cannot run loose unsupervised in the house.

Socialisation

All bunnies need to socialise with humans and/or their bunny companions. We spend quality time with our bunnies and when they are ready, we can oblige with socialisation, pats and grooming.

Tai loves Mali and often licks her feet. Tulip loves her bunny dad and is constantly licking him. Mali and her bunny dad having a chat.

Exercise

Our bunny get lots of time to exercise in our bunny play area on the porch, inside the house or in our bunny proof garden in one of our rabbit runs, where they have their own garden gazebo to rest in on a fine day.

Health

Because bunnies are prey animals, they can hide illness. If your bunny shows signs of being unwell such as not eating, loose or no droppings and not moving around, and if they do not recover in a reasonable time, they will be taken to our bunny savvy vet.
